Privacy stance

KindCompanion is designed to be a private WhatsApp-based clarity tool, not an advertising product and not a public social space. The goal is to help you think clearly before you act, while keeping data use as limited and practical as possible.

What KindCompanion uses your data for

  • Delivering the WhatsApp conversation itself.
  • Checking access, credits, onboarding status, and subscriptions.
  • Generating a response to what you send.
  • Operating payments, support, security, and service reliability.

What KindCompanion does not do

  • No advertising profiles.
  • No sale of personal data.
  • No public feed, forum, or social audience around your conversations.
  • No routine storage of message bodies in the primary database by default.

Who processes what

WhatsApp / Meta: delivers messages through the WhatsApp Business Platform.

Stripe: handles subscription checkout and payment processing.

OpenAI: processes the message content sent to the API in order to generate a response.

KindCompanion infrastructure: stores account, access, and operational metadata needed to run the service.

How conversation data is handled

The service is designed so the primary database stores account and access information such as phone number, tier, onboarding status, credits, and payment-linked metadata. Message bodies are not intended to be stored there by default.

That said, some supporting systems may process limited conversation data transiently in order to deliver the service, route requests, handle errors, or maintain reliability. KindCompanion is built to minimise storage, but it is not described as a zero-data system.

Human access

KindCompanion is designed so conversations are handled automatically rather than being routinely read by a person. Human access may still be possible where genuinely needed for support, security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or debugging, but routine human review is not the product model.

Third-party policies matter too

Because KindCompanion relies on providers such as WhatsApp / Meta, Stripe, and OpenAI, their own terms and privacy policies also apply when they provide parts of the service.

Your choices

  • You can choose not to use the service.
  • You can avoid sending information you do not want processed.
  • You can contact support with privacy questions or requests.
